Olevm Íntimo di Pompeia was launched in 1994, in a time of enormous taboos regarding intimate hygiene and sexual health to effectively satisfy the needs of a personal care area that, until then, was practically unexplored.
Olevm Íntimo di Pompeia is a paraben free product with therapeutic-grade active botanicals and it is suitable during pregnancy. It is recommended by gynecologists and obstetricians in cases of cystitis, candidiasis, vulvar psoriasis, thrush, vaginitis and during pelvic floor therapy.
Olevm Íntimo di Pompeia relieves itching, irritation and tingling in the vulvar area as well as minimizes the undesired effects of the use of underwear, condoms, sanitary pads and tampons.
It has been proven to be especially effective against dryness during menopause. Also, thanks to its warm touch and sensual vanilla aroma, it is irreplaceable as a lubricant in sexual relations.

ACTIVE BOTANICALS
TEA TREE OIL
Tea tree oil has a triple antiseptic effect against bacteria, fungi and viruses. It offers anti-inflammatory, healing and deodorant properties. It has proven to be effective against vaginal infections caused by Candida Albicans and trichomonas thanks to its power to combat fungi and yeast. It also has an exfoliating effect on dry skin and serves as a local anesthetic.
WHEAT GERM OIL
Wheat germ oil is a regreasing and emollient oil that has been recognised as one of the richest natural vitamin E sources. It contains essential fatty acids, phospholipids, sterols, octacosanol, linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, provitamin A, vitamin F and stearin. It has a regenerating and revitalizing effect on skin tissue. It also possesses antioxidant properties.
CALENDULA OIL
Calendula oil has antiseptic, soothing and anti-irritant properties. It is rich in active principles, especially carotenoids, flavonoids, mucilages and saponins. It is used to treat dry, cracked and scaly skin. It prevents infections and stimulates healthy tissue formation.
AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids with oleic, linolenic, and palmitoleic predominance in vitamins A, D and E (which stimulate the formation of collagen). It contains sterols and tocopherols. Its anti-inflammatory effect makes it a balm for the skin especially in dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. It is used in cosmetics due to its moisturizing and softening properties, reducing dry skin sensation quickly and effectively.
CHAMOMILE OIL
Chamomile oil has soothing and emollient properties thanks to its content of polyphenols and flavonoids. It has also an antiseptic effect owing to its essential oil being rich in azulene.
APRICOT KERNEL OIL
Apricot kernel oil has a light and not very oily texture and great penetration ability. This is why when combined with other essential oils, their active ingredients reach deeper layers of the skin. It also possesses emollient, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antioxidant properties.
